cristina_fumi 0 Posted January 28, 2004 What a beautiful rose: such nice balanced colours! It is almost S.Valentine you should think about making a poastcard of it... Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted January 28, 2004 Christina- funny you should say that.... I made it into note cards....it seemed to express my sincere sentiments plus add a person touch just from me to whomever. I thought they would be good for "thank you" notes and "thinking of you" type notes. Thanks for your commments and ratings. I really love your new posting. I'm coming to Europe for the first time in spring and hope to capture as many nice images as you! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 28, 2004 The depth and subdued lighting makes this much more than a postcard or perfect specimen shot. Thanks for showing this, Jayme! Link to comment
asia_orlowska 0 Posted January 29, 2004 It looks so delicate and the frame is very good choice Link to comment
Jen Selwa 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Jayme, this is lovely. Nice composition and true to life color. Your portfolio is outstanding. I look forward to seeing more work from you! (PS - My sister lives in Ft. Campbell!) Link to comment
airwinger 0 Posted August 1, 2004 Quote "it seemed to express my sincere sediments". Not my SENTIMENTS you understand. Sorry, not meaning to pick but this bloom is very much on top and not the matter which subsides to the bottom and I can almost smell it's scent. Beautiful. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 2, 2004 Ohhhh.. I hate misspelling, thanks for the correction!!!!! Must be living in KY for too long or lousy typing skills! I will correct! Link to comment
rosi 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Jayme - this shot is great. Is this a Royal Bonica rose. I have one in my garden and it is truly beautiful. Rosi Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 17, 2004 I have no idea, I only know, pink, yellow, red, etc. LOL. Wish I knew more. Took this last fall at My Old Ky Home Park. It literally was the Last Rose of Summer. I still just can't take a very good image with my macro lense. I'm guess I'm going to have to break down and use a tripod! Link to comment
fotoslim 0 Posted April 7, 2005 The rose has always been my favorite flower, beauty, passion, as the character of the adorned woman of a soft fragrance... very good composition, light and definition. Jayme which is the meaning of DOF ???. Un cordial saludo. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 7, 2005 Francisco- DOF mean Depth of field. Thank you for the lovely comment! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Thank you Michael! One of my better shots with the 100mm macro, which is a tricky lens for me! Link to comment
ricardo navarro 0 Posted February 2, 2006 The framing, subtle tones, DOF and overall soft focus (intended?): a sensitive and delightful image. Link to comment
