stanford 0 Posted January 27, 2004 Great photo, the peircing and the tatoo kind of take away from her natural beauty. But I like it anyway Link to comment
jason montgomery 0 Posted January 28, 2004 nice photo justin. i like the color and the lighting. furthermore, i think that the water droplets are a nice touch...well done, as always. Link to comment
vikram_bose_mullick 0 Posted January 28, 2004 smoothness in the skin is unnatural.. how? neatimage? Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted January 28, 2004 The Nightmare Before Christmas? She must be some kind of individual. I like her with her tattoos and piercings. Nice choice for a model. Excellent capture JG. Link to comment
vgoklani 0 Posted January 29, 2004 she is a beautiful model, but I would have preferred if you focused on her face instead of the tattoo Link to comment
james_schofer 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I dont believe that is a real tatoo, and it would be interesting to see her in the same pose without. But I do like tatoos better now. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Oh it's real all right... I'm guessing it's probably less than 6 months old. Tell her to become quite intimate with sunblock JG. Otherwise her detail will be gone posthaste. Link to comment
dacky 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I am generally against tatoos and piercing but here I like it. Link to comment
justin_grant 0 Posted January 29, 2004 It's real...and yes, I'd guess I'm pretty sure it's less than six months old. Link to comment
k._s._lovington 0 Posted January 30, 2004 I think her whole look(tattoo included) would better lend itself to a non-nude, portrait-style photo. As it is now, I see body art and naked body, but they don't really blend together in a very seamless way. Seems kind of uncomfortable. Beatiful light, though. NBC tattoo is fantastic, too. cheers Link to comment
james_holk 0 Posted January 30, 2004 I agree with loverud. This is a nice image. She seems like she'd be an indie rocker? With this in mind, the nude doesn't fit...but that's all subjective anyway i guess. Nice work! Link to comment
tony_p4 1 Posted January 30, 2004 You've captured both the model and her ink (tattoo) beautifully. Even more stunning is how you seem to have captured some of her spirit. Maybe we should have a credit for the tattoo artist of well as the work is outstanding. Link to comment
bart 1 Posted January 30, 2004 I have to disagree with kelly and james. Actually the fact that it doens't 'blend together in a very seamless way' is exactly what makes you wonder about this photograph. For me there has to be some kind of tension between 'should' and 'is'; that's what generates meaning. Link to comment
k._s._lovington 0 Posted January 30, 2004 ...that may be so, but I'm not inspired to wonder about this photo. I don't feel tension, either, just a lack of some sort of balance(not always bad, I know, just not working here). cheers Link to comment
antonio_quinones 0 Posted January 30, 2004 Oh, I see it now... I find that not enough of the tattoo is visible to make it an interesting addition to the image. I found myself trying to figure out what is going on in the tattoos right side. I think it is distracting. Nevertheless, as others have pointed out, the light and skin tones are excellent. The model is stunning. Link to comment
clevecorye 0 Posted February 17, 2004 I LOVE THE PIERCING AND THE TATOO I THINK IT ADDS A SORT MYSTIC TO THE SHOT, AND WITH OUT IT, IT JUST BE ANOTHER POSE.... Link to comment
jan_swiderski 0 Posted February 23, 2004 I don't like the restaurant on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower, but that has nothing to do with my appreciation of a photo of it. There are a lot of silly people that discuss silly things on this site. Link to comment
visionsofdriftwood 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Although I can't compare in my work, I would have to agree that the tattoo is a little distracting, but I love that tat. I was actually thinking of getting a James and the Giant Peach tat. Lucky man though, models galour Link to comment
matt_s.1 0 Posted April 14, 2009 I like the piercing. It Takes me back when i had a lip ring. With or without it, she's very pretty. I think out of all the models in your photos, she is one of my favs. Link to comment
