alecee 0 Posted January 26, 2004 A day-time view to a night-time pub. I love the riot of colors! Appreciate any comments or critique, ratings most welcomed. Link to comment
david_kay4 0 Posted January 27, 2004 The colors are so vibrant. Is this how it came out of the camera, or did you add saturation later on? Link to comment
russell_wright1 0 Posted January 27, 2004 Did you add in the sky? I live in Spore and can count the number of good sunsets I've seen on 1 thumb. If this is real you were extremely lucky. Cheers. Link to comment
amanda mumma 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I think this would have more character at day than at night - great shot and a good see. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted January 29, 2004 This image is striking. The colors, the composition, the lines everything. Really good capture and exposure. Regards, Howard Dion Link to comment
russell_wright1 0 Posted February 4, 2004 Happen to be driving by M. Sultan rd. and noticed that there is actually another building that should be in the background. Hence I assume this is indeed a composite. None the less a nice treatment. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted February 4, 2004 Yes Russel, you're right. As you can see from the image, the clouds looks better (although it only cover less than 1/5 of the image) than having a modern flat spoil the aesthetics of this old building Please note that I did not tick the unmanipulated box and thanks for visiting again. You have a nice picture of Bali terrace rice fields. I will be going to Bali again next week for a photoshoot. Appreciate any advice on good spots. Link to comment
russell_wright1 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Alec, Wish I could remember the exact location in Bali. Just North of Ubud, maybe 10-15. I just saw the shot and told the driver to pull over so the landmarks are a bit fuzzy. Ironically, I found a postcard a few days later that had been taken of the same vista. Perhaps try showing some postcards to a local driver. They're cheap and know all the places. Mine did tell me that there were some better rural shots on the North central/west portion of the island. Sadly, I didn't have time to make the trek. Good luck and I'll look for your shots soon. Link to comment
russell_wright1 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Ah yes, you might want to try hitting Ulu Watu around sunset. Watch your camera and glasses as the monkeys are a bit cheeky. Link to comment
