Nice close-up, although I don't like the large blurred leaf in the upper right corner.

Just curious to know if you like the idea or not?

If it were an extra-ordinary pix, then an art form... see the Leica forum for discussion whether fotography is art or not. I think yr pix is an ordinary record of a pa. Ok for botany book.

And, talking about that picture of my girlfriend... my goal is achieved! I was thinking about posting this one because I was not sure it was good... Especially because I was emotionaly "impartial"... I'm not used in shooting portraits, and I wanted to test the response with this one, to help me learn new stuff. I knew it was not necessarily a "good" shot and you told me exactly what I was expecting (eye hidden by glasses and etc...). So thanks for being honest! I will try to work on the technics before I upload another portrait! But I'm happy to see that you liked my "nature folder". Thanks again!

This is a great idea - the only thing which bugs me is the blurred/foreground leaf at top-right. Otherwise this is a very solid piece.
