alberto.conde 0 Posted January 22, 2004 The day was cold and overcast and the light was a late December setting sun peering through the clouds and giving a strange and eery atmosphere. The cemetery, below the towering donjon, added to the gloomy mood. What do you think? Link to comment
Link to comment
Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 22, 2004 I think that I really need to learn to read Spanish so that I can figure out if I'm repeating what other commenters have said! :-) I have to say that the composition of this really captivates! I had to come back to this one! Link to comment
Link to comment
g1 0 Posted January 25, 2004 A wonderful location aswell as historic architectural subject, but the yellow in the sky really ruins it for me. It's a horrible colour and much too dark in tone compared to the brightness of contrast and whiteness in the stone. I would like to see more sharpness and texture in the stone too. Great angle. henrimanguy 0 Posted January 25, 2004 Magnifique photo ! Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 26, 2004 You are right about the sky's colour cast. I'll try to correct it when I have a moment. Link to comment
dennismk 0 Posted November 16, 2004 great image and feel but the yellow sky does not work as well. I have to say I really enjoy your work with castle and ruins, they are some of my favorite things to photograph. The sense of place and a feeling like being on holy ground would always surround me when we were shooting such images in Italy. And I feel that in your images as well. All the best.
