This is a lovely composition Donna that really portrays your title well.The reflection along with your cropping gives a strong feeling of symmetry to the image.I think the shot would have more impact and character if the bird was illuminated just a bit more though,the light seems a tad flat.You probably should clone out some of the floating debris in the background Donna,it is distracting at close inspection and looks like artifacts.Solid image,keep shooting!

Very nice. The darker setting gives this one a great measure of atmosphere. Thomas has a point on a little extra cleanup (especially towards the right-top) Just a bit. Still this one really deserves higher ratings. It is an excellent capture!!

Thank you everyone for your comments. You're right about the cleanup. To be honest, I didn't see it. When I submitted this photo, it came in at a much larger image size than I expected. I'll have to be more careful in the future.

Lovely shot! very pretty. I agree with the debree cloning out idea. I also would like to see the bird just a tad brighter. But the symmentry of the shot is perfect. A wonderful shot. Well done.
