robertbrown 1 Posted January 21, 2004 Comments ratings appreciated on this semi-cheesey seascape with seagulls. Thanks. Link to comment
aaronsizer 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Very strong monochromatic image. The birds are subtle, but clear. The line of the bluff is unusual and eye-catching, but abstract enough so as not to overpower the foreground interest. Thanks for sharing. AS Link to comment
eirik_holm_yvik 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Very good use of a telelens. The birds are well placed. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted January 21, 2004 I don't think this is cheesey at all. The symetry is good, the tonal contast is excellent and the subjects are interesting. I've been to Arcadia a number of times and never saw it in quite this way. Good job! Link to comment
stp 6 Posted January 22, 2004 Great exposure, very nice composition. I'd keep hoping (as you probably did) that the gulls would alter their stance somewhat; I'd prefer that the two on the right either face the camera or show a profile. Very nice capture. Link to comment
sriram 0 Posted January 22, 2004 I wonder why you think this is cheesy. I love the minimalistic colors created by the light and you have done a fantastic job capturing it. Link to comment
andrew tan 0 Posted January 23, 2004 I went to Acadia a few months ago and took a few nice shots, but nothing like this. I even recognize the location. The color is great. Link to comment
