i am not sure what the subject of this photo is. is it the dog, the man, the man and dog, or are we supposed to be drawn to the basketball players? in any case i think the man doesnt make a good subject - he is all shapeless blue denim; the dog is the only thing i can think of that attracts the eye, though it is no way a strong subject or doing anything remotely interesting; and the others in the background are too far away to be of interest of clear - in fact they are lost in a clutter of colour of the hill behind. there doesnt seem to me to be any strong focal point in the picture, nor any interesting relationships or interactivity between the subjects.

Damon, you are a whiner-reviewer who takes chronically underexposed pictures and gives no positive reviews whatsoever and frankly sounds like you don't know what you're talking about..I happen to like the picture above a lot..its a little period piece of Americana. The man and his dog are set nicely in the foreground, enjoying the goings-on...
