I also used a blue gradual filter. The image consists of two colour slides framed together. In Photoshop I added some noise to enhance the atmosphere

Really haunting and great. Excellent use of a graduated filter. Not sure if you can manipulate, but a darker, less exposed but more grainy red would work as well.
