Lizard among the poinsettias
The week before Christmas, I brought one of my poinsettias indoors after watering, and I saw that this green anole (a variety of lizard that changes colors but is not a true chameleon) had hopped aboard for the ride.
The anole was kind enough to wait around for me to rig up my Bronica ETRS on a tripod, attach a Kenko +2 close-up filter, and set up a monolight with an umbrella bounce. He stayed green just long enough for me to fire off about 5 frames before changing color completely to a dull (and most un-photogenic) brown hue.
