El Contrabando

Taken along Hwy 170, a very scenic stretch of road in southwest Texas

that runs you through deserts and canyons along the Rio Grande river

and takes you into Mexico.

Love the reds and browns of the foreground. The sky looks odd tough - though I think that's in part from the overall low contrast feel of the image. There is some wide angle distortion as well. Wondering what the shot would look like with less sky and more earth.

This is one dream place to go...once again this a colorfull palette..great light , enough contrast, etc..wonderful!
