Hi Vlad, nice tone and mood in this photo. Were the sun(set) is framed nicely by the large tree at left and the smaller at the far right. However i think that the tree on the far left should be cropped out. I feel it takes to much attention without adding to the mood or composition... I have a crop suggestion for you. Regards! NB!.. Perhaps a bit more on the top and slight at the bottom could be better?.

Atle, thanks a lot for taking your time to provide good detailed analysis and even producing a new version. In fact I have in my portfolio the image with cropping close to what you suggest. I tried to make panoramic format, but had to center the composition. In attempt to off-center it I cropped right side. However, I also got another suggestion similar to yours, so you are probably right, without that tree on the left it might be better. Thank you for your useful critique.

Nice shot Vlad. This does feel a little dark to me and I like the cropped version of this, but if it were me I think I would stay with the original version to keep that nice wide angle.

I also think that it's a litte bit dark in particular on the left side but the colors of the sky are really great

Thanks, Dario, for the critique. You are right, a little bit too dark. And it seems the PN *transformation* is responsible for. It happens quite frequently to me, everything that appeares normally on my monitor is darkened when posted on PN and I can hardly handle it.

Certainly even more beautiful in the larger size. The colours are quiet and yet so smooth and beautiful. I like the orange reflections on the ice the most. This must have been a sight to have seen in real life.
