cropping some of the rather blase sky out in another version in this

I like this one as well as the sepia cropped version. I see what you mean about the bland sky at this angle. Any chance you could enhance the sky just a tinsy bit? I've never tried that on a b&w before. You seem to be pretty good with PS where enhancements are concerned. I think it would be worth trying. Good luck!

Hi TC, thanks for the comments. I pretty much stick to doing in Photoshop what I can do in the traditional darkroom. This includes contrast control, dodging and burning, and toning. I don't do composites--unless it's as a joke. Too much computer manipulation turns the photograph into a piece of computer art . . . and in my mind, it's no longer photography.
