alecee 0 Posted January 8, 2004 Well Austin. I guess you assume wrong. You see, I purposely make both the subjects and the painting sharp with a longer DOF because I find them both unique! Where can you find a painting like that and the genuine smiles of the Papua New Guinea locals? Anybody disagree? Link to comment
marshall 0 Posted January 14, 2004 I sort of agree and sort of don't. To my eye (just one opinion), I think I'd like either more of the mural to add to the sense of place, or a little less to turn it into a bright background for the faces. I do think that either way could be effective. In this shot, I do think it would be nice to have the mural fill the background, though, instead of including the gray stone up and left. The colors are strong and the figures are engaging, though. Link to comment
