Hong Kong by night is a very photographed scene. I honestly get the

feeling that most people over expose night scenes. My question for

all you photographers out there is, "Did I get it right?"

Yep I think you got it right. You could have shot this a bit earlier while there was some light in the sky but then you would have not got this shot, which is a bit different with the all black sky.

You got it right on the xposure, but u killed the reflections. Imagine a 10 knot breeze in that dirty harbour, and the impessionist like reflections. then with the camera tilted down a tad, you would lose the black nothing above the yau cheen peak area...Next time u go out, sit the camera on the 3pod, and tilt it up and down, and take more time....
