John Peri 1,029 Posted January 5, 2004 A wonderful range of tones and the depth of field is remarkable. I learn a lot by seeing pictures like this. I must start to use a slow shutter speed, allowing for small apertures to be used, like you are doing! Thanks for giving us the details. Link to comment

alberto.conde 0 Posted January 6, 2004 What do you think of the composition? Thanks for any comment Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 6, 2004 Precioso cielo, cuantos diferentes grises has conseguido en esta foto, perfecta. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 6, 2004 Alberto, the sharpness of the foreground gives the impression one can step into the frame and walk to the tower. There is so much texture and depth here that the b&w holds the attention. Colour would only be a distraction. My only reservation about the composition is that I think I might like just a wee bit more space on the left. But perhaps the narrowness of the cliff adds to the precipitous feeling. It is a wonderful image. Link to comment
Link to comment
httppedrojmatos.home.sa 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Um testemunho digno de uma paisagem tão majestosa. Muito bem enquadrada. Parabéns! Link to comment
vincetylor 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Great depth as already mentioned and another excellent capture Alberto! I would think the colored version would be nice as well. Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Very well composed, with good DOF into the grande landscape! ... Did you use any GND filters here? Link to comment
s_d5 0 Posted January 8, 2004 Truly an excellent pic. Also, may I recommend changing the name...Far Horizons seems redundant, all horizons are far, that is why they are horizons :-).....this deserves a better title, sorry I don't what will fit perfectly..but someone above mentioned "stairway to heavens." And others may have ideas for title also. Keep up the great work. Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted January 8, 2004 Fantastica immagine e bellissimo bianco e nero! Link to comment
steve leenhouts 0 Posted January 8, 2004 Very striking and inviting image! Check the horizon - eventhough it is hazy it looks to be slanted down on the right a wee bit. Also, evidence of over-sharpening can be seen on the knee of the cliff; maybe pull back on the sharpening a little. Thank you for this great image. Link to comment
