wingell 0 Posted January 5, 2004 This photo was shot at Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market, an indoor farmers' market and food emporium near the downtown convention center. The subject was playing her heart out--mostly tunes from the "great American songbook"--in the back of the place near the walk-in coolers and public lavatories. After a couple of hours, she emptied the glass of its dollar bills (amounting to no more than about twenty bucks),put her sheet music in a bag, closed and padlocked the piano and left. andrew_hansen 0 Posted January 5, 2004 This is a good image that creates a good feel for the subject in action. The only things that bothers me are the foregorund elements on the left side; both the padlock and the out of focus side of the piano. It just seems that these ened up a bit of a distraction from the subject. Link to comment
jon3 0 Posted January 5, 2004 I like it. It feels very "national geographic" to me. It might be a lot better if she were looking into the camera. The lock in the forgeround is both distracting and interesting. Link to comment
alex_v._verkhovodov 0 Posted January 5, 2004 i like the presense of the lock (lower left).....i would probably choose a different angle. Link to comment
