seattle street photography Homeless and Hungry

I took this street portrait while wandering Seattle not far from

Pike's Place and the waterfront. Would it be better in B&W? How is

the lighting, etc?

I've seen this guy in the same area. I'm sure there is a story here, but the background doesn't really suggest anything. The lighting is rather flat from our typical overcast skies here in Seattle. The blanket and sign do say something of his plight, but is it enough to "make" the photograph?

This big boy has not missed many meals, sorry, but that is my first thought here ! *R*
