Obviously he wasn't sleeping! But strangely it was he that thought

up the pose. Given the whisky flask that he is holding and the pick

on the floor in front of him, you may find it somewhat amusing?

Thanks Howard, I guess there are a couple more here, but it's going backwards in time. My subject matter was a little more mature in those days! ....http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=193540 ...

Yup, seen lots of men on road crews in that state. Nice to see someone with clothes on for a change. It's a charming shot, with good linear division of the space and placement of the child. I wish there was a bit more detail in the bottom third, but I like the grain.

Stunning pose and background. Usually I like to see the subject's eyes, but in this one the downcast glance is perfect.

John, your portfolio speaks for itself. I am still grinning from ear to ear!

Wonderful captures; the tones are right-on, the compositions are unique and thought provoking. I must come back here (to your page) and study some!

Thanks Ali. It was afternoon and cloudy .. that's all I remember I'm afraid. It's quite a grainy photo actually, so must have been max aperture ..
