John Peri 1,007 Posted January 2, 2004 Obviously he wasn't sleeping! But strangely it was he that thought up the pose. Given the whisky flask that he is holding and the pick on the floor in front of him, you may find it somewhat amusing? Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted January 2, 2004 Different for you. Great capture. Would like to see more like this it demonstrates your talent and diversity. Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted January 2, 2004 Thanks Howard, I guess there are a couple more here, but it's going backwards in time. My subject matter was a little more mature in those days! ....http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=193540 ... Link to comment

hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 5, 2004 Yup, seen lots of men on road crews in that state. Nice to see someone with clothes on for a change. It's a charming shot, with good linear division of the space and placement of the child. I wish there was a bit more detail in the bottom third, but I like the grain. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 5, 2004 Excellent capture here, John! Admirable piece of photography. Now I understand your comments on Leicas! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 3, 2006 Stunning pose and background. Usually I like to see the subject's eyes, but in this one the downcast glance is perfect. Link to comment

John Peri 1,007 Posted April 28, 2008 Thanks Ali. It was afternoon and cloudy .. that's all I remember I'm afraid. It's quite a grainy photo actually, so must have been max aperture .. Link to comment
ali motarassed 0 Posted April 29, 2008 Thanks John, the grain is getting beauty to the photo, like the door and the wall. Link to comment
