sterioma 0 Posted January 23, 2004 Beautiful spots of autumn colours, good composition and right framing. What else? :) Link to comment
jennifercatron 9 Posted February 2, 2004 Absolutely stunning. Excellent use of composition and color. Wouldn't change one thing. Great work. Link to comment
dhawks 0 Posted June 7, 2004 I really like the composition on this. I find it so hard to make scenes like these come off as anything more than a mass of trees and color. The composition here really gives an orderliness and depth to the subject matter and helps make sense of it all. Good job. Link to comment
scott_j 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Jayme,This is a wonderful photo. It tells a story and yet holds some mystery around the bend in the road. I would like to see this digitally painted to add depth to the red leaves, while keeping the haze near the background. Possible pullout the forground tree trunk with bark. The forground detail will add depth to the image. What are your thoughts? Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted October 3, 2004 You are right. This is one of my earlier images, wasn't very smart then! LOL. Maybe this year I can drag myself up here again and do it much better! Way out in the country, up a very long narrow winding road, with a wonderful overlook view. You can see 4 or 5 counties. Have to give it about another 2 weeks to get the full color and loss of leaves so one can see the actual view at the overlook. Amazing place! Link to comment
scott_j 0 Posted October 5, 2004 Jayme, I can't wait to see the shots from your next trip here. It sounds like a wonderful place. Certainly photo-worthy. BTW: Thanks for the pointers on the Steam Thrasher shot. I upgraded it with your comments in-hand.-Scott Link to comment
