I like this one. The circular form and the sweep of the petals draws you to bright part of the top center and the circle helps to keep the focus there.

 

I think the digital alterations that enhance the circular center part are great, but could be a bit more subtle, some how -- maybe with a softer or more blended edge -- (but not sure exactly how I would do that in pS). That's about all that I can think of contructive. It looks nice, though, just as it is.

 

Still working on posting my first really excellent digital image myself...but there's my $.02 anyway....

 

 

I love your interpretation of this, and I love that you mixed things up a bit. It's nice to see someone play a flower a little different. You've truly made this your own.

I like the other one better, too. This one has too much "white" space around it that is distracting and the other one focuses more on the flower. Maybe a closer crop would work on this?
