Thanks to you all for such positive feedback and ratings. So often images with obvious PS effects are just passed over as "not real photos". This is a real photo ... just one that has been inverted and toned. What are these tools for if not to allow us to be creative?

 

This kind of has a creepy haunted haunted house look and perhaps would have been better if posted in October, but it reminded me of moonlit trees with snow on the branches and felt more Wintery than Fallish.

"PS effects" can produce wonderful, expressive images that evoke many different feelings. As with "real" photographs, some are done better than others; in my opinion, "Limbs" is exceptionally well done.

Regina, I feel obligated to comment! I really, really like your image here. Now, that's what I call an eye-catcher! I can see this image on a Stephen King book cover. It evokes chills and awe. You succeeded in catching a photographically nice image and a great thought provoking image! Thank you for sharing with us.
