abintraphoto 0 Posted December 26, 2003 I've been trying to imitate this move for 3 days. Finally got it ............ (-; I'm worried about you a little. This monkey thing could, if you're not careful, easily turn into an eggg thing. ......... Great shot. I might crop some from the bottom to minimize the 'tarp' in the bg but then again I might not. This one might look good with your sepia treatment too. Thru your pictures, I'm seeing that these must be incredible creatures. Is a compliment that your images convey this. Good job Slonaker !! kslonaker 0 Posted December 27, 2003 Ken, this has already become the "egg" thing. :) Actually, today (Dec 26), we took my son from Canada to the Wildlife Park and I will start posting some of those pictures soon. I just learned how to easily do the effect in this composition and I chose a monkey picture to try it on. This one had a very busy vivid green background that competed with the monkey. kslonaker 0 Posted December 31, 2003 Thought the background was just too busy on this one, especially in color (vivid green). The effect of changing the background to B&W seemed a good compromise to keep the focus on the monkey. Comments? Link to comment
jennifercatron 9 Posted January 1, 2004 This works really really well. Nice job. Shooting it straight on isn't a hindrance, but instead draws you into the monkey. Great job. Link to comment
barry conklin 0 Posted January 1, 2004 You monkeyed around with the colors, and it almost worked. An eye-catching picture though. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Looks kind of cool, Gary - I'll have to try it on the original. Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
