detlef 6 Posted December 20, 2003 diagonal lines on this work so well to lead your eye to the top and back down again...very good light on the ropes Link to comment
michael_graziano 0 Posted December 20, 2003 This is a very interesting shot, and I love the lighting on the ropes. It looks like there may be more detail in the ship's hull (I can just barely see the lines between the plates in this image) - It could be that my monitor it making it darker than it really is but it feels like the hull should be dodged just a little bit to make the patterns in it stand out a bit more. gerald_widen 2 Posted December 20, 2003 On my monitor it I can see some detail in the background. IMO any more and it would detract from the abstract effect. Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted January 1, 2004 Great perspective ken. How about adding a nice friendly little rat running up the rope! Link to comment
blago 0 Posted November 11, 2004 Simply "Docked". Couldn't be more minimalistic. Classic and very "pretentious", I mean "modern", at the same time.Outstanding work, Ken. Regards. Blago Link to comment
leighperry 0 Posted April 27, 2005 A quintessential composition, Ken. I like the selective lighting and especially the fact that, with a little study, you can make out subliminal details in the murky black. Well done indeed. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted August 14, 2005 Great composition, so simple and so symbolic. Love the B&W choice here! jana Link to comment
