Aldrich Point

This was shot on a plastic, Holga camera, then toned to look like sepia toner in PS.

Thanks everyone for the comments and kind words. Roger, I agree with your comment--it does share some similarities with pinhole shots. I've built several pinhole cameras: I should get them out to play with someday!

I'm not sure I've ever seen Holga lens abberations quite as extreme as this. Was this cropped?

I like this style of border much more. Nothin' but the essentials. Shots like these need no shazaam. cheers, and this malbec is for you.

Thanks for the comments, Kelly and Terry. I seem to have a particularly wicked Holga (I know people who've bought 5 or more of these to get the look they want). The negative actually looks a lot like this--the left side and most of the bottom was really dark. I focused to get the stop sign semi-sharp, which of course threw everything else out of focus. I've only put a few rolls through this camera (the take up spool doesn't work well--two rolls have had to be unloaded in my darkroom!), so I'm still getting used to what it can and can't do. Thanks for taking time to comment on these images!

Oh, and by the way, the wine of the night is Valley View Merlot, though I've got nothing against a good malbec!
