It is so ironic that I should come across such a loving image; just today I suggested to someone (as I've been doing for many, many years) whose wife is expecting any day now, to run to the hospital with a camera and take an image of his newborn (hey, it's his first) holding on to his index finger and to put the image away for a few years. I didn't hesitate to say, "When your child is a teenager and you see this image of those helpless little fingers clutching your finger... it will bring tears to your eyes, tears of joy and many other mixed emotions and you'll never forget who suggested this to you!" I've stared at this image for almost a half hour and I'm thinking of my own (grown and married with a ten-year old boy and a recent baby girl) daughter, when she used to hold my fingers... sigh! Oh, yes, sorry, I do love this touching image.
