nuttorn_jang 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Good composition, the people are interesting. Only that one of the most-crappy lens created the blurred and dull picture. Suggest you buy and carry tripod all the time or get rid of the crappy Tamron. I did throw away mine though. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Thanks Gearoid... Are there others that agree with Nuttorn concerning the Tamron lenses? Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 11, 2003 There seems to be an interesting social and power dynamic here, more than just a simple economic and contractual exchange of services. Nice capture Linda. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Thanks David. Amar...you got it! Although I was drawn to take the picture because of the design elements, The same thing occurred to me after viewing it. Link to comment
norman_hart 0 Posted December 12, 2003 I can't comment on the 28-200 Tamron, but I own a 24-135 LD Tamron (series 2) and find the lens VERY sharp indeed. My only concern, if you feel that the lens is causing problems, is the use of a skylight filter (to protect the lens?)- I've lost more good shots to skylight filters than I can care to remember! No more sklight filters for me! Did you scan the image yourself, if so, what scanner did you use? Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 13, 2003 Norman, I did scan [from a print] and I intend to buy a scanner that can from negatives...but the original print is not as sharp as I would like either. I will try not using the skylight and see if that makes a difference...Thanks! Thanks too everyone for stopping by and commenting. Link to comment
