This was taken on the same day as 'Misty morning 1' and not very far away. This one though was taken into the light and (given the time to set up the LF camera) probably about half an hour later.

I like the light.

Very nice, the mist adds some intrigue it makes me want to wander further into the forest.

What make this shot different is that streak of light in the middle thru the mist and, then, that poodle of water in the foreground that anchors the pic. Very good!

Steve - Yes this one really benefited from PS adjustment. The most important adjustment was lightening a blue cast due to the mist in the air. You can see the remains of it around the edge of the photo. There was also a corresponding blue reflection in the water which was lightened.

Rachael, I think a lot depends on how thick the mist is and how the light is shining through it. If you look at the three 'misty morning' shots you can see how the effect varies, mostly on whether the shot is into the light or not, but also on the density of the mist. Anyway best of luck with your shots!
