karl_shuffler 0 Posted December 12, 2003 Great perspective, having any looker to look up. As you had to do in taking such an image. Keep looking up to get more great images and share them with us, those who too are looking up for ideas and better means to photograph. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 13, 2003 I heartily endorse Karl's sage advice. And, here's a suggestion you might consider. Try cropping the windows at the upper right edge of the frame. This way you lead the viewer's eye solely to the windows on the left. Then the photo makes a more graphic statement about the architectural details as a study in lines, light, curves, and textures. bens 0 Posted December 23, 2003 Drew, this series is brilliant. what were the techical details -- shutter, aperture, tripod use -- how did you get such a terrific white balance indoors? Link to comment
drew_gratts 0 Posted December 23, 2003 I was having dificulties with the settings on my new camera and used programmed auto..Jpeg 8 bit ... Metering multi-pattern. 1/60 @ 2.8.. Makes you wonder why bother with all the available settings when the default worked that well Used tripod of course. Image size is 2560 X 1920 pix s. Thanks for asking Link to comment
