Very nice! I think...yes...that it is cropped to close. Awesome lighting and detail. I've seen lots of leaf pictures but this one really stands out as superb.

No, I'd say it's cropped just right.

 

I love the colour, and the pattern and texture of the leaf are excellent. The only distraction i see is in the bottom right corner where there is something on the leaf.

 

But, it's a beautifully lit subject. Well done

very nice lighting good work on that but the stuf on the the bottom right part of the leaf is distracting the frame helps this particular subject because of its simplicity. could have found a better leaf than this but other than that great job, i'll rate you on your technique and not the mad leaf part

everyone!! I think the distraction on the bottom right is some dew on the leaf.

I really didn't know how to remove it,so I left it in.

I would like it better either if the leaf was dry, or if the dew/water drops were more distinct and visible. It's just my personal taste (i'm not even close to the stage to criticize others' work). But still I like your picture.

Last week's POW was a scanned leaf, i like this 100x better, you did a very good job, i like the green background. AND YES!!!! GREAT TITLE! :)
