marlene_degrood 0 Posted December 9, 2003 Very Nice! I love the composition, the reflections of the clouds, the surface fog in the background and especially the grass in the corner for the color contrast. Together it all holds my attention. It might look better just a hair darker, but that could just be my monitor. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted December 10, 2003 great shot, love the wide angle effect, please feel free to see my image of the same lighting conditions. one thing i would like to ask it, would you recommend the epson 3200 scanner? any major problems? Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted December 10, 2003 Thanks for the comments! mk... The scanner belongs to a friend, He scanned 2 of my images at 48bit 3200dpi for a test. I usually get my slides scanned by a nearby lab and Compared to their scans the 3200 seems a bit soft, and in need for substansely more sharpening and the raw scan was dark with a magenta/blue cast. In this shot the foreground is still a bit soft, compared to the slide where its very sharp.... But all in all its not bad... and it can take larger formats as well. I might try a print of this shot and get a real comparision. Regards! Link to comment

seven 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I like the perspective and the pastels of sky and reflections. The touch of land fg gives me a space from which to take in the surrounds. I would have tried to control the flare as it seems very harsh falling in to this otherwise placid scene. Link to comment
