Merlion with Fullerton Hotel background, Singapore

If you haven't tried taking night shots with extreme EV conditions before it will be difficult to appreciate this picture. Due to the very bright spotlights on the Merlion any picture taken under these conditions will mean a very overexposed Merlion. The only other way is to put in another layer to compose a "correct" overall exposure.

I like the scene, but the fence in the foreground takes something away. Also, the photo seems slightly not level, maybe 1 degree. How about this different crop ...

Christian, if you look into my folder I took several different shots and I like this one because of the light reflected on the fence. However I'm not happy with the dark sky and I intend to go back a capture it again before dusk when the conditions are right.
