ljk 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Stephen, this is STUNNING! What makes it different from the rest of this type is first, the color combo of the mossy green with the periwinkle....and second, the exposure, to me, perfectly achieves the ethereal effect. Link to comment
donpaulson 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Nicely done, Stephen! A real eye catcher. Your Portfolio is outstanding as well. I've photographed many of the same places, but not Ramona Falls. Your photo has made it a must see for me. Link to comment
sammm 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Yes, shooting prior to sunrise has yielded absolutely incredible tones. Hate to ask, but I am right that this is all done in-camera? I also like the composition, with the rock near the center and the rocks in the foregournd balancing each other. Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted December 3, 2003 A great combination of story and design, the solid, defined green rocks make the background that much more ethereal. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Stephen, I just had to stop by again, this time to comment on the 1/1 given by emias emias. I suppose a ridiculous rating such as that should just be ignored, but it is nonetheless incomprehensible. My only guess is that it was deliberately given to bring down the extra high average. m_keating 0 Posted December 4, 2003 Beautifully cool image. One can almost feel the rocks and boulders shielding themselves from the cold water. Link to comment
alan chan 0 Posted December 4, 2003 Very creative, i suggest those complaining getting sick with "water running stone at slow shutter" should have a look :) Link to comment

wenger 0 Posted December 4, 2003 Stephen- Thank you for your recent comment. Funny I had actually spent some time on this photo yesterday but couldn't find anything to add that hadn't been said. Very nice image and well worth the early wake-up. Congratualtions on an excellent image. Link to comment

alethea_hollis 0 Posted December 4, 2003 Been away and only just saw this and felt must comment. A truly magnificent and stunning shot, love the tones, composition, its pure magic. High ratings from me on this one, not one to usually give maximum ratings, but this one just stands out. Alethea Link to comment
