paulglenn 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Very original... I would like to know how you did it if you care to elaborate. Link to comment
vihao 0 Posted December 2, 2003 What inspired this picture? How did you come up with the petal arrangement? This is the only picture I've rated as 7/7 on this site. Many of the other flower/still-life/macro shots are nice, but they're pretty much the same, more or less. It's nice to see somebody take a new approach. Link to comment
miller1 0 Posted December 2, 2003 To Paul and Vihao; I was inspired by lack of creativity. I've changed colors, twisted them out of shape, cloned, faded, twirled & tortured all my flower photos. Vihao,,,thank you for your generous 7's. As far as inspiration, I was playing with this one & well, I really don't know why I did this...lol Just wanted to do something different.. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Paul, I don't keep notes when I'm experimenting,,I know I should. If I tried to duplicate this, I couldn't. Now that I look at it this morning, I think if I rotated it, It would look as if the petals were falling instead of jumping. Best regards,,,,Elizabeth Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Pretty cool, Elizabeth. I'm the same as you - I try things and when they work, I can't remember exactly what I did! I think falling petals might work better - you should try it, too. Link to comment
