Tree on Rannoch Moor

Gary, a mystical image, womderful moody sky and nice balance between the foreground and the background. Very evocative...good work indeed.

Tremendous light; I'm interested in why you have so much foreground in the shot; to my eye it seems to make the shot unbalanced.

Good lighting and subject matter. Nice outdoors photo. The lower foreground has nothing interesting in it, you might want to crop it out.

Very, very nice. Maybe a bit too dark (contrast) in the foreground, but still a wonderful shot.

The image is a straight shot on Velvia with no filltration on

camera. Some minor dodging has taken place in the

foreground to lift the rocks in the stream a little, but no other

manipulation. Unfortunately, I find it so difficult to transfer what I

see on screen to photo.net and it's clear that not everone can

see thedetail in the foreground. Sorry.

The day was very grey and I stood there with incident meter

raised waiting for the light to reach the pre-set exposure

settings. Thanks.

Simply stunning, shame I can only see the screen version Im sure the original 6x6 is something great
