Bikram Ghosh, tabla maestro

This photograph of tabla player Bikram Ghosh was taken at a concert using available auditorium light and high-speed film. I would have preferred not to have the microphone, but that was not under my control.

Nice shot. Too bad about the microphone, but unfortunately, as you rightly pointed out, there's little you can do about that during indian classical concerts, at least for percussive instruments. I think there was a little too much exposure on the right side of his face. But again, that have been out of your control with the light beaming down on him.
