Legendary dancer Kalanidhi Narayanan-2

This is a second portrait of renowned Indian classical dancer Kalanidhi Narayanan. She was emoting for the camera, demonstrating a "mudra" or pose used in Bharata Natyam.

Kartik, nice photo. Just a suggestion, might be interesting to see this photo in black and white or sepia. Also good use of the black bakground, but I am not crazy about the vertical lines. Perhaps darkening the image may get rid of that. In any case, just a suggestion if you're so inclined.

The lady was indeed great to photograph -- and very gracious, too.
Re Amar's suggestion, I will try to fix the background. I also shot a number of B&W originals during the same session, and will try to upload a few as soon as I find the time.
