andyr 0 Posted November 21, 2003 Beautiful textures and tones in this. I'm curious about the composition- can I ask why you chose to place your model to the left rather than right, given that she's looking out of frame left? For me it feels a bit awkward. Granted, the alternative I suggested might be a bit too conventional- in that case how about placing her smaller in the frame, with more blackness all around? I've seen enough of your images here to know that you've a great eye for a strong composition, hence the questions- I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts. AndyR Link to comment
agaudio 0 Posted November 21, 2003 Holy cow!!! This is awesome! I like this the best. It is a more intimate view and we can see her expression a lot clearer. It is almost like I am standing right in front of her trying to console her feelings. The autumn leaves, to me, symbolize her current emotional state. It is a tough time possibly, but eventually the spring bloom will bring her back to flourish again. This is an outstanding concept that I could literally go on for hours talking about. Absolutely stunning!!!! Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted November 21, 2003 A little bit too 'dark' for my taste, but I can't deny it's a great piece of work. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 21, 2003 Thank you for your comment . I personally find it ok for her to lean left where she is..would the rights side be different ..(?) I guess it would be more of the way it was expected to be ..I kind of find it ( as it is now ) more of giving the feel of here leaving something behind here ( looking already back ..like a person siting on the train when it is starting and the platform is getting smoller and smaller :) ) , something what has gone. There was a few more images ..in this series and some have more space etc ..I felt I need a shot like this to finish the series ....now I can say it is done :)) oh well it is just one season ..there is 3 more to go ..who knows (?) wojtek_rychlik 0 Posted November 21, 2003 If she's going away, I believe the convention is that she should be going to the right, so a mirror image would be more appropriate. Link to comment

bob_pictaker 1 Posted November 21, 2003 Hi Piotr, this is very beautiful. The tones are lovely and I like the composition very much. As it is the brightness of the hands seems to draw a lot of attention, was this an intentional move on your part? I only ask because I think I'd like to see them darkened just a bit, allowing the face to become the center of attention. It's just a thought, and still very lovely as it is. Link to comment

koval 0 Posted November 21, 2003 Thanks Ben . You have spoted a very important thing in this image..THE HANDS. ..not only they are the brightes point of this image but they are in a perfect focus too... it is all about the reasones ..as it is the last image of the series ..this one is about the time to leave ..the hands gesture is a very important element , I find it even more important then the fecial expression ( we notice that anyway )which is telling what she is going thru ..the hands thou are showing how deep here feelings are ..they give away that she is not doing this easly..Surly , it is not a common thing to make the hands a focal point and the most obvious would be to make the face doing this job...this time I made it different . :). Thank you for your input. Best Regards PK . Link to comment
