Nice, and I'm happy to be the first to say so. Her hair almost looks like water.

I think I would like this better if I could see more of her face. I like the hair in her face, but not quite so much of it.

ditto, the hair, you have made the hair the subject when it should be the young womans face. try re-shoot with her hair pulled away, keep the pose and tone and you'll have an excellent portrait for your portfolio.....

I understand the hair-problems, it invites you to unveil her face, to comfort her. But thats the power of this portrait, it causes action. So keep it like this, otherways it becomes one that every one would make. Ciao, Andrea.

I appreciate all the feedback. I did in fact take several "normal" photos of this model but who wants to see normal on photo.net? I was intrigued by the waterfall-like effect of the hair and the "mystique" of a veiled face. But I think the consensus is that the hair, if to be used like this at all, should have been less. Thanks again for the comments!

I agree with floris andrea about the hair, don't change it, IMO it makes the picture.
