You are the master of digital alterations IMHO. Strange for me that I didn't instantly recognise your style with this one.

Is it good? Well! I love it.

Hello Ben:

For selfish reasons, I can't wholeheartedly agree with Piotr. Since I found it a little more than a year ago, your portfolio has been the pole star by which I've navigated. Images such as "Schouwpijp," "One Stage," "Magic in the Air 3," "Fisherman's-Tale" and "The Forest Falls Asleep" demonstrate beyond a shadow of a doubt that given enough patience and skill, it IS possible to combine the poetic, the painterly and the photographic in a single successful image.

While "Natural Shelter" is clearly on a new "path" as Piotr puts it -- or "style" -- it's hardly a departure form the conceptually-driven artistry which has been the hallmark of all your work.

The organic circle, suggesting life's cycle, the sun and the fetal-positioned model are all powerful symbols. And all are seamlessly assembled, except perhaps for a vanishing left foot. Even the subtle blue duotone is aptly choosen. Visually, this is a bit less arresting than your paintery style, but it is no less fascinating, perplexing, or meaningful. --jim

Just checked out your folder , there are some fantastic pictures in there! They look very 'Pink Floyd' to me, are you a fan by any chance?

Cheers,

Al

Very interesting composition! it works well, but I don't think that the bottom of the nest is a good place for the sun, anyhow I really like it.

I had not still seen no one of your images and I am happy to discover your very interesting portfolio. The first ones were a bit too much copy from Magritte (whom I appreciate a lot), but you have succeed to find your own way.
