I posted this photo as a B&W version yesterday. Can't help myself, I

have to post this one too. Your comments are welcome. Uwe.

I'm still jealous that you're living here and I'm not ;-)

Love the colours in that sky... both this and the B+W version work in different ways...

I lost my heart a decade ago in the canadian rockies. The costline of BC and Vancouver Island are one of the most beautifull places I can imagine. I would love to see Vancouver again. Maybe one day I'l come along. I think the gras is always greener on the other side of the fence. But you are right, Melbourne is really fantastic. It is autmn now and the skys in the evening are so pretty. I hope I get around to do some night shots here in the city. BTW can you recomment a film for night photography? cheers.

I am not overly experienced with that sort of thing, but I have been giving a bit of thought to it myself lately as I am thinking of taking a couple of rolls of the Niagara Falls at night in the next little while - I am going to experiment with Portra 100T as it's a tungsten-balanced film and I live near a Kodak lab that specialises in developing pro Kodak film.

If that makes things look too cool, then I'll also take some rolls of plain regular Fuji Reala (I want a 100 for the finer grain)...

There's a few posts in the forum about this from people who know a lot more about film, but you may need to do a search to pick them out...
