You don't see too many pictures like this on Photo.net. I think the background distracts from the subject. Something less busy in the background would help, I think.

Thank you very much! Indeed, I'd've liked to use a higher aperture size, but I can't since I already use the maximum aperture of my lens.... It's the 18-55 that came in kit with my eos-300d.... And I really can't affors another lens for now, so I have to make it with that...

It's a very exciting shot, but I agree about the background. It would be nice to see what you could do to it with Photoshop.

This is an interesting picture and shows a very good trigger finger (note the flying spit!). The aesthetic deficiencies are minor and easy to fix.
