gudmundur_ludwigsson 0 Posted November 18, 2003 This is really something else. The way she is placed in the frame and how she is leaning onto something invisible is not to my liking. Great shot though. Link to comment
brian farn 0 Posted November 18, 2003 I like the glow of the gold. I don't really have an opinion about her placement within the frame, but I think the current placement does work for me, as she seems to be shying away from the right part of the image. Link to comment
dave_nitsche 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Your best work. Without exception. Period. This might just be one of my favorite works... Amazing... Dave Link to comment

margaret_wojtunik 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Wonderful picture, I love this golden colour and pose..Did you use light painting??? I am working now on this technique and I am very surprised with the results. regards:) Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 18, 2003 ...you are not far form the truth . The main thing is that I have used a combination of different paint mixed with yeast and water that was apied on the skin . So automatically it had a colour I was going for ..it may feel as it was light painted thou,,the rest it is really up to you i went for more spot light effect with still visable defusion around my model...So not exactly light apiting ..painting and light :) PK. wojtek_rychlik 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Your wife is really an angel to allow yourself to mess around with her so much. This would not be possible in my case. Even close! Lucky you (so far)! Link to comment
jasem 0 Posted November 18, 2003 I think, that this photo is a little dark, but it's only my opinion. But the execution is perfect, as usual. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted November 18, 2003 This shot has that Rembrandt glow. Astounding work. Piotr, do you have a background in painting? Link to comment
margaret_s. 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Piotr, as usual you always come up with something very unusual. Extra points to your wife for being patient and cooperative! :) I like the concept of the image but I'm having trouble seeing some details and that takes away from the pleasure of this image. I know what you're trying to convey (I think?) but it's not grabbing me, even though I love the effect of the golden skin, the lighting.. maybe I would've liked to see her more closeup, maybe less leaves on her head? Not sure.. Sorry I can't be more specific! Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted November 19, 2003 I'm impressed not only with the mysterious quality of the photo itself but also with the preparation that obviously went into it. There is clearly artistic skill and imagination at work before the camera is even set up. Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted November 19, 2003 It renders really badly as a thumbnail, but I'm really glad I looked at it full size. It's pretty clear that a lot of effort went into this, and it paid off. You've got a great picture here. Someone mentioned Rembrandt - it makes me think of Arcimboldo paintings, although it's not really the same thing. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 19, 2003 Dont be sorry :) I find the image very much done in the way I like it and fully apriciate your opinion even you cant find it apealing to you ...thank you anyway :). pk Link to comment
