Gyantse Kumbum - The tallest Chorten in Tibet

Deemed the tallest chorten in Tibet, this 7-story chorten has a small

internal stairway that leads to each level, with small doorways into

unlit dark chambers that are devoted to different buddhist deities.

Its surprising how warm/lush it can be in Tibet, considering this

position is at height of between 4500-5000m
