alecee 0 Posted November 16, 2003 In Cambodia the locals are still unfamiliar with tourists so they are very friendly and warm towards visitors. It also helps that most of them can speak English which is taught in schools as a subject. Link to comment

kenneth_koh 0 Posted January 5, 2004 I was wondering if you could make it sepia and grainier, thus giving it that "colonial-times-posed-picture" feeling, which works somewhat better than the "today-times-posed-picture". Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 6, 2004 Good idea Kenneth. Thanks, I'll try and post another. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted January 11, 2004 Alex, another wonderful shot. Again the subject matter, color and composition is excellent. But again your backround is almost as interesting as your subjects, so I would crop a tad. Just to emphasize the monks. Again easier to show than tell. I attached cropping, hope you don't mind. By the way, I like this one more than the one without the monk standing. His presence draws your eyes up tp the temple. Your artisitic eye is amazing! Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted January 13, 2004 Plenty in this image to entertain the eye. Personally I prefer the looser crop as posted, gives a better sense of perspective. Again a very well balanced exposure. Link to comment
nino1 0 Posted January 24, 2004 I like this photo for the tones and light, not really for the fact that they are posing; maybe , looking at my shots, you've understood that, except few cases, I prefer to work ina way that people seems unaware of me, but it's a personal choice. Alec, you have for sure a very good eye for colour and composition! Link to comment
adi1 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I miss a bit of light on the characters faces but otherwise the mood within this photo is great. regards, Link to comment
uk_wanderer 0 Posted April 17, 2004 I also prefer the open shot rather than the tight crop.Would like to see the sepia image. Link to comment
