With regard to the comment you left on my most recent upload, you surely realize that you're just a ferry ride away from Victoria/Vancouver, which is the western gateway, so to speak, to the Canadian Rockies.

I'm guessing that you're a student at UW. I lament now, but one of my regrets relating to my college years is that I did not use some of my "free time" to take road trips to scenic places like the Rockies. Enjoy this "freedom" that you have at this point in your life. Chances are that you won't experience it again for a long time!
