Otter Cliffs II

Rescanned at a higher resolution and added a touch of brightness and

contrast to more closely match the original. Is this any better? Any other

suggestions for improvement?

Having not (yet?) seen the first one, I LOVE this! I like that you used a bit longer exposure. The colors are gorgeous. Great work!!

Nice Purplish Hue, or at least that's what it looks like to me.

John, you have done a great job with this one, I am really happy that you rescanned it, to me the seas moods are as exciting and spiritually uplifting as the observance of life coming into the world and your image relays to me a feeling of where there is great beauty there also comes great anguish.

John has taken a great composition and found the right color balance. Taken as a scene, there is danger and tension, but the colors add a synergy that gives it both power AND complacency.

I recently re-visited Otter Cliffs this October. I didn't see this kind of wave activity while I was on Mt. Desert though I was hoping for it. I did get some nice shots of climbers (which I'll get around to sometime soon).
