Sandeha Lynch 5 Posted November 11, 2003 Great shot that seems to fit your portfolio of 'characters' very well. Be interesting to see more of your land and townscapes ... Link to comment
msoskil 0 Posted November 11, 2003 The black splotches on the right are a bit distracting. Are they people that were moving during a long exposure? Other than that you have an excellent picture. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 11, 2003 That is correct. The long exposure made them looking that way. I personally dont mind it . However still see your point. Thank you. PK > Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted November 11, 2003 The black figures look rather ghostly and add to the mystery. The road seems to be the main focus in the picture. I wish there was some more texture in the road, but there's nothing you could have done about it. Link to comment
seandepuydt 2 Posted November 11, 2003 Very nice, the dark ghosts don't bother me. I like the color. -Sean Link to comment

walter_strong3 0 Posted November 12, 2003 I've come back to this photo for the third time now and I'm sure the limited palette and simple composition are what makes it such a strong image. Link to comment

john falkenstine 1 Posted November 18, 2003 The basic picture is good, the blurred images are distracting and the yellow filter is a bit over the top. A lot of the picture on the R/h side is very hard to see. Why not reshoot it without the blurs, sharpen it up a bit and give it a sepia tone? Link to comment
koval 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Thank you John ...I can see where you are tring to take it :) . I do agree about the busy part of the picture and not an easy way to ead it ..the blurs ..they inho are having goood and bad influence over the image ..they create the foregroung intrest ..but make the backgroung less visable .. However DO we really need the background well visable ..is it neccessery to see it from the beginig to the end to enjoy it..mood ? I finfd it more about the mood then content..the element are not to ignored but I did shot this image some time before and it did not work ..not the way I wanted anyway ..It just look like a conventional image. There was no impact and mood was fer from this what we have here..Thanks for your input anyway. Best REgards PK . Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted November 18, 2003 Actually, I'm just jealous. If I want to take a picture like this I would have to go deep into mexico or to Nogales, but being a gringo and having a camera probably would mean either getting a good picture or coming back beat up with NO camera....
