Joshua Trees in last light.

Very nice sunset with fantastic colors. I visited this park in 1998 and was stunned by the beauty. Hope to go back there sometimes... Great shot!

Awesome colors captured... feels like it would have been cold being there.

Thanks for the comments, and yes it was cold that evening. I assume temps in the low 40s and gusty winds also. I had to wait for the occasional less-windy moment as the winds were moving even the Joshua trees.

has shadow detail, but I think the silhouette makes a stronger
