Cotton candy

Looking for helpful ideas and comments for children's photography.

Uploaded a little too large Kristin - keep max. dimension to 800 pixels. Great eye contact, exposure and composition - this would grace any brochure/catalogue etc. (Perhaps you could lose a snippet from the left hand side?)

Good title! Lovely image and a beautiful child.

 

Nice shot, I would crop about 1/8 or 1/7th off the top. the top left corner needs tidied.

Just lovely!

The photograph is lovely, but you can improve the color correction: the contrast is too low (the highlights should read +/- RGB 245), and you have a red cast (setting a neutral highlight should fix it).

 

Blend the green channel to the original in luminance mode (improves contrast), and Unsharp Mask the red channel.

Oke Kristin, this is a bit a sweet shot, but very nice.

 

I did a look for your older photo`s because the latest ones are a bit to manipulated for me. Maybe because I live in this Calvinistic Holland, but f.e. the unsharp haze filtering is to unfunctional to me, it is not neccesary at all, the girls and the flower are more than sweet enough.

not offended at all! Just a phase as they say....going through the soft phase. Glad you liked and found this one...this is actually the "one" that started it all for me...before I just liked to take snaps...this one I actually thought about trying to get a good clear picture.

Thats a release, negative critic over internet seems sometimes so blunt.
